Beyond the Bell After School Program, also known as BTB, provides a safe place after school for students to complete homework, receive tutoring assistance, enjoy enrichment activities, have a snack and build friendships with fellow classmates.
The Bastrop ISD Child Development Centers provide high quality child care/child development opportunities to BISD employee parents, district contractors employee parents, and student parents for children between the ages of 6 weeks through 5 years.
The free BTB After School Program operates Monday through Thursday from school dismissal until 6:00 pm. The program operates at Bastrop High School, Cedar Creek High School and CRCA/Genesis High Schools. You may not attend the program until you receive notification of acceptance into the BTB program. Enrollment space is limited and considered on a first received basis. Preferential enrollment is given to students with documented academic, economic, and/or social/emotional needs.
The BTB After School Program is entirely free of charge to families. Students receive a free snack daily and bus transportation is available (on a condensed drop-off schedule, designated bus stops ONLY-not door to door). Students may receive academic tutoring and participate in a variety of academic, enrichment, and college/workforce readiness activities.
The BTB program is Monday through Thursday ONLY. No program occurs on Fridays or school holidays/teacher work days.
