The Bastrop ISD Child Development Centers provide high quality child care/child development opportunities to BISD employee parents, district contractors employee parents, and student parents for children between the ages of 6 weeks through 3 years.
The STARS program is Bastrop ISD's after school and summer program for students ranging in age from 4 to 13. STARS is licensed by the Texas Department of Family Protective Services.
PKC (Pratt's karate club) Bastrop Accelerate Tae Kwon Do is a martial arts program based in Moo Duk Kwon Tae Kwon do and founded by Master Leonard Pratt in 1979. Currently under the guidance of Matt Lutz who is an advanced 2nd Dan Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do who has earned a black belt in Shotokan (American Style Karate), and Superfoot systems of karate.
Kids Program ages 5-12 & is for those who are beginners in this course.
This is an four session course to introduce the fundamentals of Taekwondo. Students will learn self-confidence, self-esteem and self-defense during the course of this program. There are additional fees for tournaments and belt tests. Our program is one of the least expensive programs in Texas. A black uniform is required for class and may be purchased from the instructor at the first class.
There will be no refunds issued once registration closes.
