The Bastrop ISD Child Development Centers provide high quality child care/child development opportunities to BISD employee parents, district contractors employee parents, and student parents for children between the ages of 6 weeks through 3 years.
The STARS program is Bastrop ISD's after school and summer program for students ranging in age from 4 to 13. STARS is licensed by the Texas Department of Family Protective Services.
This certification includes CPR (infant/child/adult), choking, AED and Basic First Aid. This satisfies requirements for foster families, adoption, childcare workers, first response teams at a business or church, and construction workers. This is a 2 year certification.
Instructor Info: All of our instructors are professional firefighters and are certified through the American Safety Health Institute (ASHI).
