  • Tae Kwon Do for Beginners

    PKC (Pratt's karate club) Bastrop Accelerate Tae Kwon Do is a martial arts program based in Moo Duk Kwon Tae Kwon do and founded by Master Leonard Pratt in 1979. Currently under the guidance of Matt Lutz who is an advanced 2nd Dan Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do who has earned a black belt in Shotokan (American Style Karate), and Superfoot systems of karate. Kids Program ages 5-15 & is for those who are beginners in this course. This is an four session course to introduce the fundamentals of Taekwondo. Students will learn self-confidence, self-esteem and self-defense during the course of this program. There are additional fees for tournaments and belt tests. Our program is one of the least expensive programs in Texas. A black uniform is required for class and may be purchased from the instructor at the first class. There will be no refunds issued once registration closes.
  • VolleyStars Spring 2024

    VolleyStars is a volleyball program for 5th & 6th grade girls to introduce the basics and fundamentals of volleyball. Please register for VolleyStars Spring 2024 section (Y500075) if you are interested in practices at Bastrop Middle School. Please register under for VolleyStars Spring 2023 (Y500074) if you are interested in practices at Cedar Creek Middle School. PRACTICES: 6 Tuesday Practices : March 19th, March 26th, April 2nd, April 9th, April 16th, & April 23rd from 6-7pm @ either Cedar Creek Middle School or Bastrop Middle School. GAMES: 4 Thursday Games : April 4th, April 11th, April 18th, &April 25th alternating at Bastrop Middle School & Cedar Creek Middle School. Team Leads NEEDED: If you are interested in being a team lead, please fill out the lead section. A head coach will be assigned at your practice and will teach all teams the basics and fundamentals of volleyball while team leads will work with their team going over what the coach introduced during the beginning of the practice.
